TCAP.MDO 077/2007 28 March 2007 Subject To consider for halting TCAP To The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Subject to Thanachart Capital Public Company Limited "TCAP" and Thanachart Bank Public Company Limited "TBANK" will jointly hold the board of directors' meeting in the afternoon of 29 March 2007, for considering the significant business related to the shareholding restructuring and management of Thanachart Group. Especially, the restructuring of TBANK that TBANK shall have a new partner whom partake in the management (Strategic Partner) by purchasing some common shares of TBANK from TCAP and some common shares issued for capital increase from TBANK. Thus, we shall further inform and deliver the related information in full details. Thus, TCAP's and TBANK's boards of Directors, by the meeting no. 3/2007 held on 28 March 2007, had a consideration and deemed it appropriate such information shall affect TCAP's share price and investors' decisions in buying or selling TCAP's stocks.
