Subject: Nomination of Executives
To: The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand
Referring to the Meeting of Board of Directors of Thanachart Capital Public Company Limited ("TCAP") No. 12/2010 held on 22 October 2010, the Board of Directors adopted a resolution for the appointment of executives as follows;
1) Mr. Suphadej Poonpipat to be a chief executive officer, replacing Mr. Somjate Moosirilert
2) Mr. Somjate Moosirilert to be an executive vice presidentThe executives' restructuring is to support the appointment of Mr. Somjate Moosirilert to be a chief executive officer at Thanachart Bank Company Limited (TBANK), a subsidiary company of TCAP as the replacement of Mr. Suphadej Poonpipat whom will be retired from being the executive of TBANK in year 2010. As the appointment of executives at TCAP and TBANK will be effective from 22 October 2010 onward in which has already been approved by the Bank of Thailand.
The alteration and restructure of executives of Thanachart Capital Public Company Limited and Thanachart Bank Company Limited would enhance business operations and capabilities of Thanachart group as well as support a progressive business expansion. The executives of TCAP as shareholders of TBANK will be managing TBANK and be involved in the business integration between TBANK and SCIB for the transition to be completed smoothly and successful.
