Subject: Inform appointment of Chief Executive Officer
To: President and Manager The Stock Exchange of Thailand
The Meeting of the Board of Directors of Thanachart Capital Public Company Limited ("the Company") No.9/2009, held on 25 August 2009, approved the appointment of Mr.Somjate Moosirilert (Director and Executive Director) as the Company's Chief Executive Officer, which recommended by the Nomination Committee. The said appointment was already endorsed from the Bank of Thailand and effective from 29 October 2009 onward.
Thereby, Mr Suphadej Poonpipat resigned from the Chief Executive Officer and remains as Vice Chairman and President.
In addition, Mr.Somjate Moosirilert was appointed as Director, Executive Director, and Senior Executive Vice President of Thanachart Bank Public Company Limited, the main subsidiary of the Company, which was effective from 29 October 2009 onward.
