Subject : Liquidation of a subsidiary company

Thanachart Capital Public Company Limited ("the Company") would like to inform that PASARA Company Limited, which is 99.99% owned by the Company, filed for deregistration with the Ministry of Commerce on 11 July 2008.
PASARA Company Limited run the business as the finance company, with registered and paid-up capital of Baht 30,000,000 (6,000,000 shares at a par value of Baht 5 each). At the time of the liquidation, it had no longer operated any business since December 2006. The Company therefore decided to liquidate PASARA Company Limited. However, the liquidation of the subsidiary company does not have any material effect to the operation of the Company.
