With regards to the distribution channels, respective financial services are principally provided through the branch network and service outlets of Thanachart Bank (TBANK).

The Company incorporated Scotiabank, an international financial institution from Canada, as its strategic partner in order to enhance capabilities and competitive edge in the financial industry. Scotiabank’s shareholding portion in TBANK is 48.99% while TCAP’s shareholding portion is 50.96%

In realizing that people are our most valuable resources, Thanachart Group places great emphasis on our human capital through strengthening and investing in capability and competency development for our staff members, in order to ensure that our employees at all levels are equipped with knowledge and ability to really understand customers’ needs, and to make recommendations on products and services that best suit their conditions and needs. We also aim to instill the service-minded spirit in our staff members through listening to customers with great attention to details. Strategic interventions to support such initiative are, for example, classroom training; aiming at providing technical knowledge relevant to each job function, on the job training; learning by doing, and lastly, coaching; monitoring work performance and providing feedback on a regular basis. In this regard, technology will be playing a critical role in materializing these development interventions such as the e-learning system in order to encourage an organization-wide learning environment.
